Colorado closed the game on a 15-4 run as Boise State was defeated, 60-53, by the Buffaloes in the First Four of the 2024 NCAA Tournament. The Broncos took a 49-45 lead on a stepback jumper from Chibuzo Agbo with 4:31 to play, but Colorado scored the next 11 points to grab the win. Boise State ends its season with a 22-11 record having made the NCAA Tournament for the third-straight season – first time in program history.


Boise State women's basketball fell to Montana 92-66 in the first round of the Women's National Invitational Tournament yesterday.


Idaho Track and Field opens the 2024 outdoor season at the Buc Scoring Invite hosted by Whitworth University starts today and continues thru Saturday. This marks Idaho's fourth consecutive year kicking off the outdoor season at the Whitworth Pine Bowl. Action gets underway with the men's decathlon and women's heptathlon this morning followed by both track and field events. Competition continues through Friday which begins with the final events of the men's decathlon at 11 am, the women's heptathlon at 12:15 pm and all remaining track and field events to follow.


Behind solid pitching performances from the Golden Eagles, the 14th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Softball Team beat Treasure Valley 7-0 before falling 3-0 in game two.   CSI, 19-9 overall, travels to Colorado Northwestern tomorrow and Saturday.


On today’s high school baseball schedule, Wendell will travel to Declo, Kimberly goes to Buhl, Glenns Ferry to Gem State and Burley, Minico and Wood River, Jerome and Mountain Home will travel to Timberline in Boise to participate in the Bucks Bags Tournament. 


For the softball games Minico will be in Jerome, Mountain Home goes to Buhl and West Side goes to Declo.
